The digital healthcare company known as Practo has released a new rap song, titled ‘Flashback2020’ created in collaboration with Jagdish Chaturvedi. He is an ENT Surgeon as well as a stand-up comedian and writer. This track is fully based on the satirical round-up of the year that has just gone by where the whole world witnessed the entire world in the grip of a pandemic. The special number forms part of a campaign by Practo that focuses on reminding people that the pandemic is not done yet and that they should keep on taking precautions and maintain ‘2 gaz ki doori’.

In this Rap Song, Dr. Chaturvedi with his inimitable style, takes the audience back and forth in time, from the beginning of the lockdown phase when the virus bumped us into truly looking at the way we are living, working, and interacting with each other. Peppered with humor and clever comments, the video pushes us to take a moment and reflect on our recent past before we step into the new year, and then it shows us about the nationwide lockdown, people wearing masks, being more health-conscious, keeping social distance, and even conducting zoom meetings for business & education.

People expect the launch of vaccines and become careless by going out to public places and hanging out with friends and family. This campaign aims at convincing people to continue fighting and spreading awareness about hygiene & safety measures until the virus is completely eradicated.  Chaturvedi commented that it is unusual for a doctor to turn into a rapper to convey a health care message. And so, ‘Flashback2020’ will always remain close to his heart. He also said that they try putting smiles on the people’s faces and bring some light as we continue to pass through the dark and dreadful times.
