By being named Agency of the Year, Dentsu Creative India closed the book on Cannes Lions 2022 on a triumphant note. The final metals total for Dentsu Creative India at Cannes Lions 2022 is composed of 3 Grand Prix, 1 Titanium, 1 Gold, 4 Silver, and 3 Bronze Lions. 24 shortlists had been obtained by the agency. 

This year has been India’s best at Cannes Lions. Ogilvy India further enhances the fame of Indian metals. Six Lions in total—one Titanium, two Golds, two Silvers, and one Bronze—were won by the agency. Mondelez India’s “Shah Rukh Khan My Ad” campaign has been Ogilvy India’s standout entry at Cannes Lions 2022. 

India wins seven medals at Cannes Lions Day 1; Dentsu Creative and VMLY&R win the Grand Prix. 

India has already won seven awards at Cannes Lions 2022, including two Grand Prix, one each for Dentsu Creative and VMLY&R. The seven victories also include two bronzes and three silvers. 

Dentsu Creative wins the Gold at Cannes Lions Day 2 while BYJU’S & DDB Mudra take home two Silvers. 

India carried on its winning streak from Day 1 of Cannes Lions 2022 into Day 2 of the event. On Day 2, India won 3 medals. Dentsu Creative extended its winning streak by taking home 1 Gold, while BYJU’S and DDB Mudra each received 1 Silver. 

Day 3 of the Cannes Lions 2022: 10 additional Lions for India 

At Cannes Lions 2022, the Indian advertising business is thriving. India has won Lions in a variety of categories each day of the three-day advertising competition.

Ajay Gahlaut receives the India charge as Dentsu unifies creative talent under Dentsu Creative 

The establishment of Dentsu Creative, Dentsu’s global creative network, was announced at Cannes Lions by global CEO Wendy Clark and global CCO Fred Levron of Dentsu International. Dentsu Creative will be the only creative network for Dentsu International working with customers all over the world. Its goal is to unite and accelerate creativity across the organisation.
