Ajay Simha is the new marketing director at Nivea, India


Ajay Simha was appointed as the marketing director of Nivea India on Wednesday.

He has over a decade of experience across various categories such as personal care, face, male grooming, lip, and sun care. Simha has successfully promoted and lead various portfolios of the brand both in India as well as globally.

Simha was responsible for the Nivea body care and cleansing and baby care portfolio across the Middle East and North Africa, before taking over as marketing director, Nivea India.

With a Master’s in marketing from S P Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai, he has close to 15 years of overall experience in the field of sales and marketing. Simha’s leadership will help strengthen Nivea’s position as a trusted skincare brand, the company said in a statement.

 The company also added that, with Ajay’s deep-rooted understanding and a proven track record of driving growth, he is bound to enhance and improve Nivea’s brand presence and equity in the country.

Having witnessed Ajay’s journey over the years, Neil George and his team are confident of the tremendous experience and deep-rooted understanding that he has. Ajay will have a significant role in devising strategies for our various product launches and campaign, continuing the marketing momentum across categories, and collaborate with key industry players, associates and teams. He further wished Ajay the very best for his new role.  Neil George is the managing director of NIVEA India since 2017.
