Paytm and Sachin Tendulkar collaborate for Paytm First Games

Paytm, the go-to e-commerce company in the country has brought in its latest campaign to endorse its online games provided on the app, Paytm first games. Paytm has been the go-to mobile app in the country since 2010. 

Be it for online transfer, linking bank accounts to the app for quick and efficient pay, instant payments, or the use of Paytm wallet for those who don’t have a bank account, Paytm has always outdone its capacities.

Paytm, founded by Vijay Shekhar Sharma, has around 350 million or 35 crore users as of 2019. The number is subject to change or increase since during the pandemic everything happened online. Be it classes or payments. Therefore the number of users has surpassed the current number.

One97 Communications is the parent organization to Paytm. It was during January 2018, Paytm launched a new and different app, Paytm first games. The app has strong features of online games, which include cricket and more. The app was launched in partnership with Chinese gaming company AGTech holdings.

Recently, Paytm’s first games revealed that they have swooped in the legend Sachin Tendulkar as their brand ambassador. The TVC ad was released on September 18 and has been creating a rush for viewers and gaming fans.

The film was conceptualized by Taproot Dentsu, and it showcases what users have in store from Paytm first games. The ad begins with few adolescents playing cricket in the ‘gully’. They are suddenly witnessing the presence of Sachin Tendulkar amongst them. Sachin, then, is seen to request to be pooled in or joining the game, as his desire to be part of Gully cricket is seen in his eyes.

Excited and elevated children are observed to accept the offer except for one. The boy says “The game has already begun”. Eventually, they agree and Sachin joins.  This is exactly what Paytm has in store.

The ad eventually educates the viewers on how Paytm first games have a new feature where people can join a particular game even if it has already begun. The campaign includes three films in total and all of them endorse what we should be looking forward to with Paytm games.
