Reliance and T-Series collaboration

Reliance and T-Series have joined efforts to produce over 10 films for various genres both big, mid, and small budgets. The biggest production houses have collaborated with an investment of around Rs 1000Cr.

These two production houses have created music for more than 100 films by now. This is their first-ever collaboration in connection with producing films. The slate comprises three big-budgeted content creations, remakes of Tamil hits and thrillers, historic biopic, romantic drama, courtroom drama, and film based on true events. Out of these, four to five works will be released in theatres worldwide starting from 2022.

The bunch of movies is expected to be produced in a period of the next 2 to 3 years. It will encounter co-operations from well-known filmmakers like Pushkar and Gayatri, Vikramjit Singh, Mangesh Hadawale, Srijit Mukherji, and Sankalp Reddy.

T-Series is an Indian music and film production company founded by Late Gulshan Kumar on July 11, 1983, currently managed by its managing director Mr. Bhushan Kumar. It is the largest music label with around 35% share of the Indian Music Market. The company secures 192M subscribers on its YouTube channel, a total of 6.35M followers on its Instagram handles. It released its first soundtrack Qayamat Se Qayamat in 1988 Tak directed by Mansoor Khan featuring Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla.

Reliance Entertainment is an Indian film production company, a line of business of the Reliance Group that handles all the media and entertainment aspects. The company was founded in 2005 as two separate entities, Reliance Big Entertainment and Big Pictures. Next in 2009, these two entities united as one, Reliance Big Pictures which changed its identity to Reliance Entertainment in the succeeding year.  It owns 29% shares of Codemasters up till January 2021.
