Tonic Worldwide bags Social media rights for SBI General Insurance


Tonic worldwide has won the rights for social media management for SBI general. The company will be managing the social media handles of SBI General Insurance and will be improving on its digital marketing performances.

Tonic worldwide is a digital marketing agency that provides services like SEO, SEM, PPC, and ORM, etc by strategy development, creation, and designing, developing relevant content, technology using the most effective media for the purpose.

The company also extends its services for well-known brands like Viacom18, Sony Entertainment, Sony BBC Earth, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Sony Max, Asian Paints, and Welspun to name a few.

SBI General Insurance is a subsidiary of the State Bank of India, India’s largest state-owned banking and financial services firm. As a joint venture between the State Bank of India (SBI) and the Insurance Australia Group, it was established in 2009 and went into effect in 2010. (IAG). The CEO and managing director of the company are Prakash Chandra Kandpal, appointed on 20 July 2020 by SBI General Insurance Company Limited. The company provides insurances against personal accidents, Home, health, travel, marine, fire, and liability.

SBI General Insurance has tie-ups with Policybazaar for tourism Insurances and Bancassurance Tie-Up with Karnataka Gramin Bank.  The main insurance policies offered by the company are:

  1. SBI General health insurance policy
  2. Group Health Insurance Policy (for Individuals & Family)
  3. Simple Home Insurance Policy
  4. Long Term two Wheeler Insurance policy and,
  5. Cyber Defence Insurance for businesses
