Airtel – The New Choice of India, Ad shows user’s choice of data traffic


Bharti Airtel, India’s largest communications solutions provider, has launched a new marketing campaign to highlight customers’ overwhelming preference for its world-class network and distinctive offerings.

According to statistics released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), between September 2020 and February 2021, two out of every three new mobile users selected Airtel over other networks. Over 25 million consumers joined the Airtel network at this time, demonstrating the brand’s power.

“We have one and only one guiding concept — client obsession. It’s also heartening to see people thank Airtel for always listening to them and innovating to better serve them, especially at a time when the epidemic has reshaped the norm”, stated Shashwat Sharma, Bharti Airtel‘s Chief Marketing Officer.

“Today, Airtel has the biggest number of active mobile users in India, and we feel we are leading in consumer hearts,” Sharma added.

The campaign has been conceived by Taproot Dentsu. It has a voiceover that describes how various people have moved to Airtel. It reveals that between September 2020 and February 2021, two out of every three new mobile users preferred Airtel over other networks.

“Winds of change have been building quietly, steadily, and certainly in India’s telecom of choice. And now, Airtel’s figures are speaking for themselves. Our campaign is a representation of this straightforward truth.” Taproot Dentsu’s Executive Creative Director, Pallavi Chakravarti, remarked.

Airtel has developed a 5G-ready network and has routinely outperformed the competition in network performance measures across numerous global platforms. According to Opensignal, Airtel’s mobile network in India provides the greatest video and gaming experience. To enhance this experience even more, the Company has begun deploying the extra 355.4 MHz spectrum it purchased for Rs 18,699 crore in previous auctions.
